“Byredo Baldafrique Absolu is genuinely easy to wear — smells great, and the longevity on clothes is excellent. On skin, though, it fades fast, so don't expect it to last all day unless you're relying on fabric to carry it. The vetiver is the one note that might not land for everyone — it can read sharp and woody, so if you're not into vetiver, this could be off-putting. I wear it constantly, but I'll be honest about the tension here: it's not a basic scent, yet it doesn't feel especially complex or unique either — it lands somewhere in "pleasant but generic." Fantastic daily wearer, just don't go in expecting a showstopper.”
